The International Society for Trace Element Research in Humans is a non-profit corporation which was founded in 1984 by Dr. Prasad, Dr. Abdulla, Dr. Brewer, Dr. Fell, Dr. Parr, and Dr. Solomons.
The primary purpose of the society is to disseminate knowledge in the field of Trace Element Research in Humans. More than 40 years later, our members include scientists, physicians, and other health professionals from around the globe.
How is the venue of the ISTERH meeting decided?
The officers of ISTERH determine the next meeting site based on geographical concentrations of members, proximity to last meeting site, facility costs and accommodations, general accessibility, and travel facilities and costs.
